I downed a Klown and he was up before I could hit his nose with my axe

They were cheating, right? There was no moments of vulnerability between me downing him and him getting back up, no opportunity for me to hit his nose. This happened 3 times in a row and ofc after the 3rd time he downs and kills me.
I lowkey quit right after cuz that felt like bs but I wish I got a video so I could report them
