I know this is debated enough, but I feel I should post my thoughts on this matter.

Cocoons are high risk, high reward, as in you get more experience from cocooning someone because of suffocation, generator hang, closer to apocalypses, more minions to help keep an eye out and move cocoons for you, and the kill of the human...not to mention the combat against the human to take them down as well, plus 5 seconds off ability timer, which every second counts. Cocooning someone should go as followed, take them down with your melee weapons if you can, then cocoon them because if they break free, they'll still be weak from having no health, and can easily be taken down again if they aren't eating a hamburger or using a med kit already.

Killing humans is low risk, low reward. I know plenty of people love down right killing the humans and never giving them a chance to break free from cocoons or anything.

My opinion, early to mid game is best to try cocooning people because you should strive for the apocalypse if feasible. I usually give people 1 chance, meaning I'll cocoon you, but you break free, if I catch you again, then I'm finishing you. That's just me, but I see plenty of people just going for kills.

I had one person block me just because I told them the apocalypse is easier to get than what people think, but he couldn't understand me and just laughed. Play with that person, nobody will get an apocalypse, and you need 3 early apocalypses to complete 1 challenge, not to mention kills from the apocalypse too, but I know people always complain about how easy it is for humans to escape the apocalypse when it happens, and to a certain degree, I get it, but as a Klown, you should know your setup and use your abilities as best and wisely as you can. If the apocalypse is happening, then you should have your ability ready to go for such the occasion to hopefully finish the humans off before they escape.
