They’re trying to get me out. I’m one write up away from being out and it’s not that bad because I’ll make more on unemployment than I do there anyways. The environment is toxic. There’s clear favoritism. There’s clear rules for some people and not others. There’s this mindset of “This is what I need and want and fuck everyone else, but they better help me if I need it”. Like, nah. I’m a team player 10000%, but if you aren’t a team player with me, I won’t go that 10000% for you. And that’s what my coworker seems to not understand. He’s made it clear multiple times that he isn’t a team player with me, but then gets mad when I leave him when my shift ends and he has to close the 30’ restaurant bar at the end of the night. I had to close that bar once by myself. It took me about 40 minutes. How he says it takes him over an hour is beyond me. I don’t understand it. I’ve had to close full bars with like literal buildings in an hour and a half. He has to mop like 30’ behind the bar and wipe down some bottles. He doesn’t even restock. I don’t know what takes him so long. It just makes me mad. Is anyone else tired of their job? Wanna complain? Sympathize? Let’s talk.
