Hey there! I'm a 31-year-old guy from Denmark, software developer by trade.

Currently I'm on holiday with my family in Greece. In between enjoying the sun, the pool and the good food, I thought it'd be lovely to chat a bit with someone nice on here. And, you know, if we click, we can keep talking after that, too.

My laptop broke on one of the first days here, so I'm restricted to typing on my phone. As a result, my replies will probably be a bit shorter than when I have a proper keyboard available. (Typing on a phone is the worst!) I'll be back on a proper computer in 2 weeks, though!

I figure, I'll write a list of stuff that occupies me these days, and you can possibly use that to gauge if I'm interesting to write to. Deal? 🙂

I recently got diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. That is, high functioning autism. It's quite the life changing diagnosis for me. I've been struggling my entire life, feeling wrong, fighting hard to hide it. That caused a lot of anxiety, and eventually I burned myself out with stress about a year ago. I got my diagnosis like a month ago, and I just feel so much more relaxed after I've gotten it. If you're curious about what it entails or whatever, I'd love to answer any questions you may have.

I brought my Nintendo Switch along for my vacation. Just bought Super Mario Maker 2, and am playing a bunch of Mario Kart online. Got a bunch of other games I play to varying degrees. Sadly I won't be playing any Steam games (like Cities: Skylines) for the next few weeks due to my laptop malfunction. 🙂

Usually I like to go on long walks and listen to audiobooks. Probably won't be walking much in this heat, though. But still. 🙂 I tend to mainly listen to non-fiction - I love learning, you know? Recently I listened to "Humble Pi" by Matt Parker, a fun little book about mathematical mistakes.

I'd also love to hear you tell me about your own passions. Do you have a silly obsession other people won't listen to you ramble on about? Try talking about them to me!

I do tend to get a bit overwhelmed by replying to messages sometimes, so if I'm slow to reply, I may just have exceeded my message writing capacity. I apologize in advance, it just takes a lot of energy to write a good reply, and I don't always have it. And I don't want to kill the conversation with a shitty reply, you know? 🙂 Guess that's just one of my quirks - maybe an Aspie thing? Who knows. ^^
