Hey everyone, I'm a 19yonavigating the ups and downs of college life. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster, and I've found myself feeling a little adrift and in need of a genuine connection. My friends are amazing, but I'm craving someone new to share stories and experiences with.
Lately, I've been reflecting on what I want from life and relationships. I've had a few casual dates, but nothing that felt truly meaningful. Seeing my friends in committed relationships makes me hopeful but also a bit anxious about finding that special someone who truly understands me. I'm passionate about literature, love exploring new coffee shops, and have a soft spot for indie films. It would be wonderful to meet someone who shares these interests or introduces me to new ones.
Has anyone else felt the weight of these thoughts? How did you overcome the fear of opening up to someone new? I'm looking for someone who I can connect with on a deeper level, someone who makes me feel valued and understood. Is that too much to hope for? Let's chat and see where our conversation takes us.
