I love taking care of men.
In particular taking care of men emotionally by listening, hugging them, giving them attention and approval. Caring for them and loving them. Some boys never received it growing up. Some never get it now.
Life is busy, things are expensive, working long hours to provide for families. Sometimes it's a thankless job. You boys work so hard and are always so strong and brave. Sometimes neglected and frustrated too.
Don't you wish you could curl up with a someone as she strokes your hair, telling you everything will be fine. Then you drift off to sleep in her arms, content and peaceful and drained.
You're safe and loved.
