I’m looking for a longterm roleplaying partner, and care much more about the partner than the roleplaying. I’ve found that some of my favorite roleplays didn’t involve the majority of my kinks, and I’ve had too many roleplays to count that involved all of my favorite kinks and scenarios, but just fell flat. What really seems to matter most is how well I mesh with the person and their writing style.

There’s several things I’m looking for in a partner, some practical and some preferential.

The first is schedule - I’m online the most during the daytime on weekdays (Eastern Time), and occasionally in the evening and on weekends. Ideally, you have a similar schedule, or at least some overlap.

Second, I enjoy out of character discussion and lots of setup for the roleplay. I prefer starting with a conversation, chatting about kinks and interests for a while, and then setting something up. If you want to get to the RP as fast as possible, and only RP, we won’t be a good match. I do still want to RP, to be clear.

Third, I prefer partners who are able to move the story forward some, especially in a submissive role. Just because your character is in a passive position, doesn’t mean your writing should be equally passive. I also like good grammar/punctuation/spelling and appropriate length responses, but those are uncommon issues compared to inability to move action forward. This also hold for conversation and setup, I want to chat to someone who has thoughts, opinions, and preferences of their own. If I wanted a partner who just wanted to please me, I’d write a story by myself.
