You and Oliver both miss the last train out of the city after a long day at a conference, leaving you stranded with hours to kill until the next one. You find a hidden bar to wait in, where one drink turns into two, then three, and the distance between you shrinks with each shared glance. By the time you finally get on the train, the dim lighting and the lull of the tracks have you sitting side by side, your head resting on his shoulder. His hand drifts to your thigh, his breath warm against your ear as he murmurs something that sends a shiver down your spine. In the quiet hum of the train, you realize this night is about to take a turn neither of you will forget.
