Good news from the doctor, how to care for it now?
Post Body

I went to the urologist today and my stone is still the same size and in the same place as over a month ago. He said at this point it's nothing to worry about, and it'll either come out, or just stay there forever (he's leaning toward it staying there for a while because it's the same exact spot and size after about two months). He said it's so tiny I might not notice it come out (or I might, but he said as long as I'm drinking a lot of water that should help if it decides to pass).

So my question is, how can I now care for this thing chilling in my kidney? I know to drink a lot of water, but is there anything else I can do for kidney health to be sure it doesn't grow? And should I carry pain medication? I travel a lot and wouldn't want to be stuck visiting an out of state hospital if it decides to evacuate.

I know I make a lot of annoying posts here, and I do apologize for that! I just want to be sure I'm doing everything right and I've never gone through this before.
