Has anyone had nerve ablation done on their kidneys?
I’ve had kidney stones for about 20 years. I’ve had 4 removal surgeries and lithotripsy once. I’ve had about 7 urologists and 3 nephrologists. 99% of my stones have been less than 6mm. I’ve had pain in my kidneys almost daily for about 15 years.
Now most of the doctors say it’s just back pain. Back pain that is either on the left side or right side and feels like I’m passing a stone. It has gotten bad enough I’ve gone to the ER a couple times, I always have stones but sometimes they aren’t moving or anything yet I still get this pain almost daily, sometimes for 10 minutes sometimes for a few hours. Specifically where one of my kidneys is, again sometimes left sometimes right. But it’s just back pain I guess🙄.
Just curious if anyone has been able to get nerve ablation and what the process was like
