I’m 72 hr post-op from lithotripsy and ureteral stent placement. As far as symptoms go I can urinate fine with little to no burning, frequency is increased but don’t have the feeling of having to go but can’t.
My biggest complaint / pain is what feels like an unbearable Charley Horse. My left leg, the side the stent is in, hurts so bad. The pain is dull but not constant. Much of it is positional. Definitely the muscles on the front of the thigh down to my knee. Especially the tendons just above my knee cap. I’m laying down and applying heat but when I’m symptom free it only takes a few minutes to start cramping up and become painful again.
Has anyone else had this happen? From what I’ve been reading these aren’t typical symptoms.
