Hello,
So I went threw a whole Rollercoaster of hospital visits etc.
Beginning in June I began to feel some pain in my lower left quadrant thinking it was my diverticulitis pain (been diagnosed since 2017).
So I went to the ER. They just gave me ibuprofen. Couldn't tolerate the pain so I went again at the end of the month. Same situation. No results or help.
And again in mid July. Same result no help.
Threw this time I began a harsh liquid diet for weeks and lost more than 25 lbs (Personal: 6ft. Male Usually Healthy fit).
Fast foward to August my general doctor gave me a referal to a gastrointestinal doctor. The GI doctor told me that surgery would be the case to remove the diverticulitis affected area, but would be costy.
What did I do? Fly to Guatemala were our family friend doctor can do it cheaper.
Still in August
So, we did a colonscopy and guess what? Barely any damage to the divedticula area. Instead they found kidney stones.
The doctor sent me back to the US with meds for two months. I felt somewhat better, but last two weeks of October bam! Pain again.
I go to the ER last week because the pain has been even more severe than before and all they do is give me meds.
I ask them that I really want something done and barely acknowledge that and just put me on IV and sent me home.
Get another referral now to a urologist but appointment isn't until December 3rd.
All I really want is to be looked at for this pain. I cannot take it anymore. I dropped out of college this semester. I barely work anymore and haven't had much of a social life in six months.
Please any help?
