Kidney stones after stent removal.

Post Body

I had a Laser lithotripsy the beginning of this month and had a stent removed last week Wednesday. On the drive home from the doctors office I was having really bad side pain, and pain on my buttocks and a urgency to do number 2. Since my girlfriend was driving we made an emergency stop at a restaurant to use there restaurant but nothing came out. As we headed back home the pain continued to get worst. By the time we got home and got inside the pain went away and every felt like nothing happened. An hour later I passed a few kidney fragments. I thought that was the end of that.

Come Thursday I begin to have an urgency to urinate and it got really bad and peeing blood. It lasted till Saturday. Sunday it all cleared up with no more pain, today( Tuesday) I’m getting the buttock pain with small sharp pains on both sides of the kidneys, urgency to urinate along with some weird pressure when I put as if something is stuck. I spoke with the doctor and was only told to drink a lot of fluids but that doesn’t seem to be enough. If anyone has any ideas what it can be or ways to make the stone pass faster if it is one. I had to go back to the hospital.
