What do you include in a bag workout?

Luckily I have a bag at home otherwise I'd be very short of exercise equipment while staying at home.

What do you cover when working on the bag? I've been following some great routines on youtube which I'll link below, but wondering what I should be covering in terms of improving technique, speed, power, and conditioning for both punches and kicks.

Is there any preferred way to split this out to make sure I'm covering everything fully?
