Soft gamine here (I think), I’ve found myself with a consistent source of fashion irritation. Now, I love broad shoulders and inverted triangle shapes - if you’ve got it, rock it! You look fantastic! My issue is that my hips about the same width or slightly wider than my shoulders, and I’d like to show my natural body shape. However my lower body is very rounded/ying while my upper body is pretty angular/yang. The outfits I’ve tried always seem to heavily emphasize my shoulders and make my hips appear much narrower - again, nothing wrong with this, but I’m prone to some body dysmorphia it kind of messes with my brain that I look a certain way without clothes and very different way with clothes. I’m trying to figure out how just a t-shirt and jeans can add so much width to my upper body. Has anyone else had similar problems balancing their shapes, and how did you get around it?
