Let me start of by googeling Harriet Tilden Mcjimsey if you look at some pictures of her book Art And Fashion In Clothing Selection it becomes pretty apparent that kibbes system isn’t original but mostly hers with a few adaptations, so I have no patience for his Facebook group and him being so disapproving off interpreters and adaptations, if he himself is an interpreter. It’s also ringing some alarm bells that his system is a changed version of an existing one made by a woman and on his website he stages it as if it isn’t.

So while I think his work has value and all and he has done a great deal of work with his system, and we as a subreddit have improved upon some of it’s short comings (looking at the whiteness of it all), he himself is probably not a person we should be branding ourselves with.
