I’ve always loved the look of a midi skirt, but struggle to feel my best in them. I feel like unless the hem is in exactly the right place, I look stumpy and overwhelmed. I thrift silk midi skirts all the time and decided to try to make this one work a few days ago. This beautiful asymmetric hem is both flattering and extra pretty, and is operative to the success of this outfit. I like the tight top and pointy shoes with the more fluid skirt. I don’t own many black shirts, and so chose this one by default, but I’d be interested in seeking the same basic concept with different necklines. What do you guys think?
