Hi, thank you for having me in this community. I'm very interested in a Kia Telluride and want to hear from the community on your experiences buying the Telluride. I'm interested in the 2023 EX trim and have found a number of them in my area (near Atlanta, GA). However, every single dealership I've reached out to or visited has addendum markups with BS charges like under carriage protection and ding and dent sealant and market value adjustment. One dealership literally has a $7500 markup from the MSRP to the dealer price.
I used to sell cars and the addendum sticker is 100% BS, and I refuse to pay for these things that are already part of the car, and I am not paying a market value adjustment. I get that gone are the days of getting a car at the dealer invoice price, and I'm willing to pay the MSRP minus freight and delivery charges (another BS markup). but I refuse to pay $7,000 over the sticker price. I'd understand if they were impossible to get, but every dealer has at least 20-40 on the lot right now.
Has anyone had success getting a Telluride for close to MSRP? I'd love to know how you went about it.
