So I purchased a 2018 Kia soul plus back in November and unfortunately it was in an accident and totaled a few weeks back. I took the insurance money and purchased another 2018 Kia soul plus and the question I have is that can I use my key fob from Kia soul number one and have it reprogrammed to use with Kia soul number two? They are both Kia soul plus. I know I can buy a new blank for the key and have it cut at a local locksmith and put it on the old key fob. I have a working key with the key fob with this car I just want to have a second one.

The second part of my question is is there anyway to program the key fob without one of those special computers? In the past you could do a series of things in a card to activate it into programming mode for your keys and for your remotes, is that possible with the 2018?
