I have a 2013 Kia Soul that I just bought from a friend. Unfortunately the starter went out last week. I went ahead and replaced the part and everything was running smoothly until this past weekend, my car is having issues starting up again and making an interesting sound I have not heard before. I checked to see if everything was connected properly. It does have a broken connector, but seems to push in all the way. I don’t know if it’s the connector is causing the issues or if it’s a bad starter, or combination of both. Either way, go use some advice am wondering if anyone else run into the same problem.
