Charge speed increase through software update?

I’m just about to take ownership of the 23’ Kia Niro ev4 as it’s called here in the uk (wave/gt line elsewhere), I am aware that the fast dc charging speeds aren’t the quickest and this doesn’t bother me too much for how we are using it, however I have read about other manufacturers (Tesla/iD3) having had software updates that increase charging speeds. So I was wondering if this is something that will be possible with the Kia Niro in the future or not really a possibility?
