Hi gang, my wife has a 2018 Niro Hybrid. Day before yesterday 1 headlight went out while on vacay. Yesterday both went out. Hi and low beam, same bulb. Bc they are HID no one stocks them. Drove part way home in the dark yay us, with the help of street lights and flashers when necessary. Called local parts places, no one has HID in stock, they have LED. Called the dealer parts guy and he said the lights shouldn’t burn out, they ‘last forever…check the fuses’ But LED would be an ok swap. A quick visual check of fuse look ok but I’ll test w meter in a sec. Meanwhile, from what I read could be the relay (?) which I can hear clicking when switching hi/low. How can I test the relay? Is just switching one terminal to ground? Any other thoughts? TIA
