I have KiCad 6 and have researched component or IC footprints for specific parts to put together a concept board using python and the sKiDL library; and I found the parts I wanted through GitHub repositories… but, and maybe I’m just a step behind given that i was able to bring all the symbol files and part info down locally even though they seem to have been installed elsewhere in my file system, the terminal output in VS still says KiCad environment variables are missing even if I take them from configured paths IN KICAD and hardcode them in the script!! Should I just update KiCad?… it’s likely evident that I am lost.
