I only started playing Keyforge recently, and bought decks from each set and played them in order. It certainly helped with learning the game as I had a foundation to go off of as they introduced new mechanics in later sets. I was trying to mimic the experience of those who started playing when it was first released.

If the only decks that are available in game stores will be WoE with the additional mechanics of previous sets plus token creatures, will it be too overwhelming for new people to get started? I took the advice of many of you folks and bought a MM starter set to get the current tokens, and found individual decks online for the other sets. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect people who are casually interested in learning Keyforge to go to those lengths.

I read the WoE starter sets are going to have the trainer decks like they did with CotA. Hopefully that will do the trick, but it would just be so cool to see boxes from every set on the store shelves amongst the Pokemon and MTG displays.
