IV Ketamine - 15 total sessions scheduled
Post Body

I recently started IV Ketamine treatment. For PTSD, Anxiety, & Depression

*Things to remember Set a good intention before each session. Your first treatment will be a roller coaster ride. Body sensations will arise during treatment. Don’t eat or drink four hours before treatment, but be well hydrated with water. Death may come up, but it’s more about ego death. You might want to quit, but keep going it gets better. Don’t drive or drink alcohol the day of treatment. Don’t watch the news or give time to negative outlets after treatment. Your music selection will be among the most important part of your journey on ketamine. I started with new age/techno playlist, but now lean into classical. Your sex drive might go up or down following treatment. Have someone there to put a hand on your shoulder if needed during treatment. Go home and relax or sleep after treatment. Bain neuroplasticity after treatment can last up to multiple days. Use this time as an opportunity to reprogram your mind for the better.

Treatment #1 The medicine kicked in pretty fast. Death came up, multiple times. I wanted the experience to end, multiple times. Spiritual things came up. I went to multiple worlds. It was a total roller coaster experience. I kept trying to bring myself back in control. In the end I was glad to come out of it. I wasn’t sure if I would continue with the next session. Sleep was a bit lucid that night.

Treatment #2 I chose a more relaxing music playlist of classical. The medicine took a few minutes longer to kick in. Much more enjoyable & relaxing journey. Myself was guiding me through the session. Nothing spiritual came up. I relinquished more control to the medicine. I looked forward to the next session.

Treatment #3 Today we went with our first dose increase. I selected a more relaxing music playlist. The medicine is taking longer to kick in. The first half of the journey was experiential, the send half was just enjoying the music. I felt really good days after treatment.

Treatment #4 I selected a music playlist that I enjoyed in a previous treatment. I also set an intention of inner peace. The session started and ended lite. Not nearly as deep as before. Unfortunately the session was yuck. Lot’s of death and darkness. I was happy when the session was over. My mood isn’t as good as before. I will increase the dose next session. I remain hopeful next session will be lighter and brighter.

Treatment #5 I went with a dose increase and I’m glad I did. Much deeper experience. I also went with a peaceful ketamine music playlist. Very spiritual journey today. Angels as my guides. Still need to give over more control to the medicine. I feel really good hours after this session!

Treatment #6 Music selection was a peaceful ketamine playlist. Today’s session was peaceful yet on edge. The experience was basically a recap of all previous 5 sessions. A journey to space always let you know what you are experiencing. My total mind feels lighter and also feels like it’s expanding.

Treatment #7 I went with a dose increase today. Best session I have had so far. The dose felt perfect. The experience was spiritual, spacey, and restful. There was no fear of death. This is the closest I have been to inner peace in my life. Nothing of “this world” earth even mattered.

Treatment #8 Unfortunately not very enjoyable. To be expected I guess, some good but mostly blah. Your body sure tells you when the dose is not right. I will go with a dose increase next session. But thankful for the medicines teaching experience.

Treatment #9 Jan 9th
