So I recently got the game. I'm trying to avoid online resources mostly. But I can't find anything after searching briefly before I leave for work. When I put the Stayputnik Mk1 on a rock, it flips as soon as I engage my liquid stages. Without fail. I built a solid booster rock that got me to 150km before I went to liquid stages, and this had an uncontrolable tilt that kept pushing me towards the horizon. As soon as I was in liquid, stayputnik immediately rotated to face kerbin. Like it was top heavy. The .2 mass object is top heavy out of the atomosphere and the 1.25 mass engine is lighter than the probe.
Maybe I'm missing something here. But if I put a command module on the rocket, I can fly it anywhere in the solar system I please.
Edit: Oh yeah. I am unable to rotate my rocket back into proper orientation to burn prograde. Every time I engage thrusters I rotate to face kerbin.
