What form of transportation is best on each planet?

So I'm working to put a Kerbal on every planet and I need help with some vehicles they can drive or fly around on the planet they get to. For instance, on Eve where the atmosphere is so dense and the gravity bumped up, my Kerbals travel around on rovers that were pretty easy to get there.

Now I have a few questions for the other planets, because I've never been to them. Would a jet plane work on Duna? Or should I build a rocket/lander that would be easy o move around with the decreased gravity?

Basically, what form of transportation is best for each planet? Thanks!
