[Mod Suggestion] A new way to simulate a object

Post Body

As im pretty sure everyone here knows, spaceships are usually simulated in parts. Instead, why not simulate it as one whole object. There are multiple reasons as to do this.

  1. It would reduce lag

Instead of having multiple simulations of multiple parts individually of a object, why not only 1 simulation? And when a object breaks in half or decouples, then the simulation simulates the decoupled piece, and the piece you are still flying, so it goes 1 to 2 pieces simulated. And with docking, it would go from simulating 2 pieces to 1 piece. We will not have to deal with the extreme lag that comes with simulating 74 parts of a object.

  1. Realism

When a part breaks from structural tensions, or from (soon to be added0 re-entry, does it break evenly across the place where to pieces are put together? Usually. But these parts are 1 fluid piece. So instead of even breakages, it would break in shapes with angles, etc etc instead of clean even breakages. This would add another dimension of realism to the game that the current simulation system does not add.

Like i have said before, we should simulate a object as 1 fluid piece instead of multiple pieces. We could reduce lag. We could make the game more realistic.
