I am 20 years old from the Philippines and finally, after waiting for months, Cxl epi-off was done to my left eye. The procedure is quite fast and not that painful as I imagine, though I did felt uncomfortable for the latter part of the procedure. I was also prescribed with eye drops to use depending in the instructions

I'm writing this 6 hours after procedure and all-in-all, my expectations on pain (that it will be painful) and comfortness (that it will make me uncomfortable) post-op cxl was not met (in a good way). Just an hour after the procedure, when the anesthesia wears off, I felt the pain and I cried for the whole time. But when I started using the eye drops and the prescribed pain reliever, the pain is gone.

Now, I don't feel anything except for the feeling of having something in my eyes. I feel no pain and my eyes are not that sensitive to light. I just napped for 10-30 minutes twice and been using my phone since then.

My question is: Is it normal? To not feel any pain post-op and not to be sensitive to light? Though maybe it's because of the pain reliever that was prescribed to me, but I just want to know your thoughts and experiences after cxl.

Edit. I forgot to mention that I can also open my left eye (the eye which cxl was done) easily and also actively using it while using phone.
