So i just thought I had eye strain from staring at a computer all day as a nurse. Until one day I went to employee health for screening and failed miserably which inevitably lead to the eye doctor and a diagnosis. I’ve had glasses for a few months and currently I am waiting on contacts but even with glasses things have gotten worse. I just now had that sudden sense of dread come over me that I’m going blind. I’m only 33 and still play ice hockey for fun. Ironically enough I’m the goalie. 30 years of experience helps clue me in to where the puck is going. Anyways I just looked up all the info on other treatments and transplants, immunotherapy etc and it was a bit overwhelming. Finally, I made my way over here not only to find out it was keratoconus day but get a little hope. Thanks guys.
