Kenshi 2 and Technology while roaming
Post Body

Since Kenshi 2 takes place in a more technologically advanced era I hope to see some QoL features that people still manage to hold onto.

Stuff like wagons or some variant of vehicles to help transport things across long distances. Animals work obviously but better to have one garru pulling a wagon instead of 3 garru you have to feed for the same amount of weight carried.

With this in mind you could easily move bases safely by packing your civilians in the wagon as well perhaps. Or slaves.

So now we have more robust road networks and possible play experiences: highway banditry, transporting civilians between towns, transporting criminals or captured slaves, better emergent stories especially if nobles/high value assassination targets leave the defense of their hometown since they need to do a pilgrimage or even check up on faraway mines/slave camps.

There is so much traveling in Kenshi I hope to see more NPCs conducting travel and expand the possibilities of what we see happening in the world.

Maybe even deck out your wagon with some defenses too so you aren't caught with your pants down every time you're trying to 4x speed to a distant town and some of your people get caught in a fight while the others just run ahead lol

Maybe even for new starts you could hop onboard as a caravan guard which seems a bit better than always looting bodies or mining random nodes
