For a battle that we've waited over a decade for, I think I can safely say this is not what I expected. Just in terms of the circus it's become for better or worse. I think drake has played to his strengths very well in that regard. He's using his voices via Ak, Adin, OVO Mal and others to push narratives. And ppl are eating it up. "Kdot has a diss he's been tucking for 4 yrs, he has to respond asap bc he's the one who initiated" etc. He's trying to apply public pressure on kendrick to release a rushed response. I think both of drakes response records are good don't get me wrong. But they're not "put em down for the count" good. But he doesn't have any opposition in terms of dominating the public perception considering the only ones speaking on kendricks behalf are friends that prbly know as much as we do. And while he tried to B Rabbit himself on Taylor Made, I still believe those topics are in play. It all comes down to kendricks eventual record. I no longer think dot can wait in terms of dropping his "nuke." His response now has to be the one.
