In the last month or so, I've noticed a distinct rise in certain traits and habits that I don't like in myself.
I'll say hurtful things when upset, or engage in negative gossip, or specifically bring things up to be passive aggressive or cause arguments.
Djehuty is my patron, so speaking with wisdom and kindness is really important to me. These are not traits and habits I've had before. They're very new and I don't like them, and don't like the person I am when I engage in them.
The problem is I don't realize what I'm doing in the moment. It's only afterward that I realize I've said things I really shouldn't have. And I'm unsure what's causing it or how to stop it.
It's strange that it's so deeply connected to Djehuty, to speaking with wisdom and truth, and calm rationality. It's like I've become the opposite of what I strive to be under his guidance.
What could be the cause of such specific and strange new habits? What can I do to be more mindful and stop myself from engaging in these behaviors in the moment?
