Keloids on jawline from accutane after 10 months on it. Derm has been injecting it but it’s not flattening :(
Comments
What is the derm injecting? If you haven’t seen ANY results in 2-3visits, then it’s not working. With your keloids being so small, I’d recommend something less invasive than injections. Silicone sheets at night and gel during the day for at least 12 months. Good luck

Everyone’s on their own journey and things work for some that don’t work for others, but I need to tell you - please do not let this doctor remove any more of your scars. 1. That should be done by a surgeon, preferably one with experience in treating keloids. 2. Leave any doctor that wants to rush into surgery, ESPECIALLY a dermatologist. As mentioned, your scars are small. Know that there’s a chance you may never be able to remove them, but managing them should absolutely be your priority. Gel sheets work, but you need to be persistent and consistent. And having the scars on your jawline makes them difficult to wear 24/7 which is why I suggested the gel as well. Lastly, if you’re having skin issues, look into your diet as well as blue light therapy. Similar to red light, which is gaining more and more popularity as a mainstream treatment, blue light is showing great results for inflammation of the skin. Good luck
