I got steroid shots on my keloid around 6 months ago which made it completely flat. However as a side effect of the steroid I have hypopigmentation on the surrounding area of the keloid and it’s significantly lighter than my natural skin tone. I’m think of using a 0.5mm dermaroller to go over the skin and see if the pigment returns, but would that essentially ensure my keloid returns? If anyone else has experienced steroid induced hypopigmentation and has any other ideas please let me know
I would NOT take micro needling to any part of your body. Don’t you think that would keloid as well? The only way I could see micro needling working is if you could also take kenelog and work that into the skin as well

Right. Plus certain parts of the body are prone to keloid more than others.
