I just want to share this with my fellow kefir lovers. I like it straight and I have seen others that add maple syrup to their kefir, and it’s good, no doubt (if you also like sweet kefir drinks). But take that maple kefir and add a splash of lemon juice… that is a cup of liquid candy to me.
If you want to try, I’d say add 1/2-1 tablespoon to a small glass of kefir (depending on desired sweetness, add as much as you want). Then add a splash of lemon juice, maybe 1 tsp or so…again, vary based on how much lemon flavor you want. Enjoy.
I’m curious if there are any brave souls out there to try this recommendation and let me know if you think it is as good as I do. May start with small amounts of maple and lemon and adjust to your sweet spot.
