As my grasp on reality falters I lay their bones upon the altars Dreams are losing their lucidity Fading beneath ego and cupidity The smell of roses haunts my mind Scents like memories lost to time Life pulls itself apart in each instant Eyes becoming listless and distant Words unsaid, reopening the suture Trapped within a visionless future
