First let me start by saying that this concept is not my own, it’s been done several times in Looney Tunes, but basically here it is:
The thing I like about fiction is that you decide. To a lesser extent you’re somewhat of a god. You can create worlds with nothing more than the stroke of a pen or key, and with that same stroke you can determine the fate of those same worlds. You create nature, the people inhabiting the worlds, and depending on the medium and who’s in charge (specifically with dnd) even their actions. You can determine the laws of logic and what they apply to, nothing stands in your way in the world of fiction. You’re not a god, but a creature of imagination and power, undefined by that universe setting things into motion in the lives of these people or creatures you make to the outcome you desire, whether logical in our world or not. You can even go as far as whether or not they can acknowledge your existence. So go out there, take your pen, and create a universe and give it meaning
