Just a PSA: if you've got a polished manuscript ready for querying, today is one of the 4 yearly #pitmad events on Twitter.
More info: https://pitchwars.org/pitmad/#writers
Basically, make a 1-tweet pitch for your book.
- Use appropriate tags for genre and target audience
- Pitch must be a single tweet, but you can tweet 3 times per book during the course of the day
- Manuscript must be finished and ready to submit to agents and editors.
If you have a manuscript ready to go, this is a rare opportunity to get some visibility at a time when multiple agents are actually looking for you. Even if you don't get picked up, it's an opportunity to grow and practice pitching to industry pros, as well as see what agents are looking for.
