Thursday/tomorrow is going to be odd day.
Post Body

Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day....for a lot of reasons.

It's been a fun, crazy, and unpredictable 3 weeks we had fighting the repeal and the years that follow this day (no matter how this vote goes, fighting and educating people about net neutrality and why it's important.)

Last week, we were just Redditors talking about net neutrality screaming into the void, calling Senators and Representatives. Some of us were lucky enough to get a response that they support net neutrality. Others got ignored by their Senators and Representatives and will be taking their revenge on those people in the next election cycle. :)

However, some of us were geniunely surprised by how our Senators and Representatives switched from being against net neutrality with canned messages to coming out publicly or silently in support of net neutrality.

And along the way, we dealt with pretentious Libertarians (#notall), trolls, and even shills as we work to spread our message across the Internet.

And this week, it was a major tonal shift with no YouTuber talking about net neutrality prior to now everyone talking about net neutrality.

Maybe, my ACTION PLAN had something to do with it or maybe the YouTubers were planning to do this all along. To massage my ego, I am just going to say that I did have a hand in that.

So, here we are now: awaiting what is to come after the FCC vote. What will happen with net neutrality? I honestly don't know.

You have 5 Republicans coming out in support of net neutrality and you have most of the Republican majority not partnering with Ajit Pai personally on his dismantling of net neutrality by not signing his letter, signaling a fracture in the Republican stance for Ajit's plan. Even Twitter went from being a silent bystander to an active participant.

Last week, we had to face against heavy odds, especially with Facebook, Twitter, and Netflix being silent on the issue at all. This is actually our first grassroots fight on our own - without Facebook to boot. If we win, this would prove that the Internet can defend itself.

So, what does the verdict look like? I don't know. I cannot predict if net neutrality is leaving or staying. I honestly don't know. It could either way. It could be dismantled or it could voted down by the House and Representatives. I don't know where net neutrality is going.

Let's play Devil's Advocate: what if Ajit Pai pulls this off and net neutrality is destroyed.

First and foremost, without a shred of doubt, Ajit Pai is going to jail.

It may not be one month or even six months. Ajit Pai made a lot of political enemies, he has 19 State Attorney General investigating him. Depending on how he votes, he is going to be dragged into courts. There's a mountain of evidence against him, his past, his records, and even his plans for a world without net neutrality.

That shit is going to be dragged in the open. He refused to cooperate in the investigation.

There's going to be an investigation about him and soon, there's going to be news reports about him being arrested for corruption. We just have to be patient. It's going to happen.

The courts may (more than likely) overturn Ajit's attempts to destroy net neutrality from within and [that bill] to stop another FCC Chairman from using the same methods that Ajit used from another corporate insider to use]() will close FCC from regulatory capture.

The courts will side with net neutrality, as they always have because they have proven record of doing so. More than likely, this would be done because Ajit refused to follow procedures correctly.

So, there is good news about this at the end of the day

Of course, time for the bad news, the ISP's are going to have a field day. It's going to be tough for consumers who start using the Internet less. It's going to be even tougher for Americans to make a living online in the time it will take to restore net neutrality.

Some Americans (like myself) would have to go to neighboring or other countries to wait out this hellstorm that can take about months or about three years (max., I only assuming the duration of the time) to fix things.

So, brace yourself for a very rough time. But on the **brighter side, Ajit is all not that well-connected politically and the fact Republicans are somewhat distancing themselves from him is a good sign.

But, these are just my theories....

I guess the better, bright side: We gave it everything that we could do in three weeks. And the fight isn't all over. This is war and it may seem that the tide is turning. Keep our voices loud and clear for everyone to hear.

No matter how the vote goes, we are still on this hell ride,' Evan
