Why are single straight men shunned on hookup Reddits?

I couldn't help but notice that when it comes to hookup/fwb Reddit pages, especially in Midwest regions. Single straight/heterosexual men (and often black men) are commonly excluded or dissuaded from commenting and DM'ing. Why is that when the pool is already so small around here?
