Ladies and gentelman this is the guide that you have been waiting for so without any more delay let get straight into it:

Why Kayn?

He has a pretty simple kit, really fast clear and feel smooth. Personally ,I hate immobile champs and kayn is the exact opposite of that, your Q can make you dash over walls and your E litteraly makes you walk through walls.

Kayn pros:

As I said nice clear, unique ganking paths with your E wish enables you dodge ennemies wards and get out of their vision. And an untargetable ult wich is always a life saving ability .

Kayn cons:

You are a minion without form :)

okay but seriously some kayn mains don't respect something called items, as long as you have a clear item advantage ( like double long sword) you should be able to win IF you play correctly.

The general plan with kayn is just to respect the ennemy jungler and get fed through ganks or counter jungling.

and now for the famous question how to choose forms?

Rhaast ( red kayn) is amazing into tanky comps, your Q starting dealing % health damage coupled with your black cleaver and conqueror you start shredding through all tanks.

Blue kayn (shadow assasin) gains a huge cast range on his ult and on his way out , and some nice bonus magic damage for the FIRST FEW seconds of a fight so don't take extended fights please. So you wanna pick him into multiple squishies with a maximum of 2 tanks.

Now for their differences:

Rhaast: Q now deals % health damage, W is a knockup for 1 second. Your E is the same, your ult now starting healing you way more from anyone building health items, in a perfect situation you gonna tank the damage they throw at you , smite-ult the tankiest champion on their team and heal all the way back. Oh, and your passive is now to lifesteal from damage done to champions with your abilities.

SA: Q doesn't change, now you can cast W while moving since a shadow will appear in your place. You gain a slow resist , bonus mouvement speed when your E is active and it's cooldown is reduced to 8seconds ( without CD items). As I said earlier, you rult cast range is now way bigger so you can catch those annoying ranged champs. Your passive now grants you bonus magic damage, if you use your ult the CD on your passive resets never forget that.

Max order: 3 points in your Q- max W and finally your E, ult whenever possible.

Items:

For Rhaast: Warriors into black cleaver. Ninja tabis or mercs depending on ennemy team. I recommend to grab a spirit visage since it have a nice synergy with your passive. From this point it's pretty situational here is some good items on our boi: sterak's gage, dead's man plate, guardian angel, death's dance when ahead, randuin's omen if they have those annoying crits champs.

For Blue kayn: warriors into double lethality items ( duskblade ghostblade), a early mobis. Always get a mortal reminder when they have healing or a Lord Dominks regard when it's around lategame. For the last item, you can get either a guardian angel or an edge of night.

Please note if they have lots of AP an early hexdrinker is always nice either than all of this I don't really think there is much variety in items for SA.
