Casual Karting Only
Post Body

Hi, Iā€™m looking to see whatā€™s the easiest setup for casual karting.

What is ā€œcasual kartingā€? Being able to just take it for a spin in my neighborhood, make a mini autox track to race against down my driveway / parking area, time trialing myself just for my own learning and fun.

Iā€™ve driven karts before, taken cars to a track and have experience and have tools, garage space , and worked on cars.

Iā€™d prefer a fully out of the box kart package such as this

But I donā€™t know whatā€™s good or right for my simple needs.

I donā€™t care about top speed , but as long as it can hit 20-30mph thatā€™s plenty. Iā€™m looking for safe(r) fun and more focus on technical driving and mastering a ā€œtrackā€ that I can build and change as I see fit.

I donā€™t want an off road go cart, and Iā€™ve looked at the ninebot go kart pro which looks good for what Iā€™m looking for. But, Iā€™d also like a real kart that can be maintained , repaired and updated as needed easily.

I donā€™t plan to kart race, but this is my track replacement during covid and much cheaper cost to run than a full spec track car.

Any thoughts or recommendations?
