Situation:
The user known as u/The_Kingsmen made a contest post on /r/freegold, where he promised to give gold to the first person that answered the questions in his post. 1
As he did not specify1 that the answers should be correct, or of any value at all, I answered 2 as quickly as I could. I met a negative response from u/The_Kingsmen, with them saying that he wasn't satisfied with the answer I gave. 3
I realized (or so I thought) that there was an obvious hint of what to do in the title, and so I did. 4
Not only he proceeded to ignore my correct answer, he added a new rule that came out of nowhere, which he admitted he did 5
Not happy with that, then he proceeded to unnecessarily imply my comment was, in his own words, "useless" 6, which hurt my feelings a lot, and declare the very next unrelated comment as the correct answer, and gave to that person the gold that was mine from the start! 7
I just want everyone to have what they deserve. That's all.
