We were having dinner with some LS friends and we kind of sat in an “atypical” way for a “typical group of vanilla friends to sit”. One of the guys said they have been out before and no couple was sitting close to each other. He said the waiter really caught on when it came time to split the check and everyone was like “Yea, me and her over there”

I got to thinking about hanging out in vanilla places where before you even go in just change partners so it looks more “normal”. However, I’ve noticed in our circle of LS friends every couple has a distinct style and both people kind of match that style. I know it would take a pretty eagle eyed person to be like the clothing style of that person more matches that other person they aren’t with, and they might put some pieces together.

Anyone have a fun story of hanging out in vanilla places but being just barely not vanilla enough that a really observant person caught on?
