Wow. I have a lot of stuff to say. This series is just amazing. I don’t typically do “slice-of-life” manga/anime because it’s just not really my thing, but I watched one episode and was hooked. I heard that elements of the manga were taken out, so I started from the beginning. Read the whole manga in two days and I have absolutely no regrets. I’d place it at my #2 favorite series ever (side-note: #2 only to One Piece, but if I compare chapter 1-149 of Kanojo to chapter 1-149 of OP then I definitely enjoy Kanojo a lot more). Kanojo, Okarishimasu just made me not want to stop reading. I felt the storyline has been very enjoyable and super emotional for me, felt the character developments were very organic, the humor was great too.

I know lots of people hate on Kazuya for just being a simp, but I actually really like him and his drive for his goal, especially liked his character in Chapter 149.

I also like Mami too, I can see the hate and she is kind of annoying in the beginning, but I really felt her point of being fed up with Chizuru and stuff.

I probably love Ruka the most, because she has a lot of willpower for her goal and gives her all at all times.

Sumi is pretty great too and she cares so much about growing as a person and stuff. I was thinking “oh wow. Sumi could be super interesting, I just feel like she has so little screen time.” Then I found out that she has a spin-off completely about her so that solved my only problem with her.

I honestly wasn’t a super fan of Chizuru at first, I liked her but I wouldn’t say that I found her as “best girl” or anything close UNTIL we got her backstory with being an actress and grandfather and stuff. With the added backstory, I love her damn near the amount that I love Ruka and Sumi.
