My microdose of kanna caused a headache for me and partner

We both insulflated about 1-5mg of kanna extract powder tonight and definitely felt like effect like a buzz feeling and after like 30 minutes felt a headache. We hadn't taken any other substances with it. We're our bodies just not used to it yet? Should we try to take less? Is it the place I bought it from?
