Ok this is not scientific but in east central rural Illinois, which is heavily republican I’m seeing something very different than I saw in the previous two elections. Previously Trump signs were all over. Flags flying, big signs, little signs, signs along rural roads, big signs in fields, and lots of yard signs in the small communities.
This year however I’m seeing very few signs, no trucks with Trump flags, no large signs. I’m estimating that I’m seeing 90% fewer signs than I saw in the previous two elections.
So you tell me what you think of my observations and assumptions, but I see it as a sign of a Harris/Walz win.
