Just got my KJ1 about 3 weeks ago and have cooked on it every weekend since! I’ve cooked mainly on a traditional offset for over 20 years and was amazed at how much easier it is to manage my fire! Once dialed in, temps stay locked for HOURS! One thing annoying was the vent control would slide whenever the dome was opened. I ordered the newer vent top control tower. Hopefully that addresses the issue. Also hope the old one isn’t going to be hard to remove without damaging the ceramic chimney. Any experiences in swapping these out?
