From what I´ve read, you are able to defend your thesis in June 2021 and in September 2021, however, I´ve talked to one person currently enrolled in the Programme I´ve been admitted to, and she´s told me that literally no one defended in June, and she will be defending in January 2022. This surprised me a lot, because I thought that everybody was supposed to be graduated by September 2021, but I was wrong. Is this common? Is it that hard to defend your thesis by September? After defending your thesis, can you leave Belgium and get your results by e-mail or is there anything pending to do at KU Leuven after the defense? I ask all this because I´d expect to start another Master´s in another country by late September 2021. Thank you!
